Get in Shape for Summer!

I was looking through some past issues of Paper Crafts magazine and was inspired to make some shaped cards for Summer. This is probably the only shaping up I'll do this Summer! The popsicle card is hinged at the top so you can open it up. I didn't have any craft sticks, so my son helped me eat the last 2 Eskimo pies. When I told him to save the stick so I could make a card with it, he said, "That's gross, my mouth's been on it!  The margarita card involved some physics to get it to stand up.

Splash Dance

I bought these adorable papers and stamps in the clearance bin awhile back and finally got a chance to play with them.  It's the Splash Dance line from Imaginisce. It makes me want to go to the beach!

Mango Luau Album

Here's the mini album I made with the Bo Bunny Mango Luau papers. I haven't added embellishments or stickers since I usually wait until I add my photos. I found out that my sister's whole family is going to Hawaii so I may give this to her and make another for myself.

Relax in paradise

I made this card for my neice who is going to Hawaii. I'm so jealous!! Thanks to my friend Allison for giving me all these great Bo Bunny papers and embellishments! I'll have to post the cute mini album I made with them.

Terrific Trio

Here's a trio of cards we made at a stamp camp a while back. It includes a Father's Day, Friend, and Thank You card. They were all made using Stampin' Up! papers, punches, and inks.

Dad Can Fix Anything!

When I used the screwhead brads on my other card, it reminded me of a Father's Day card I made several years ago. Since Father's Day is coming, I decided to make another. I found this stamp online and had to get it. Everytime my husband fixes something, he has a little "Dad Can Fix Anything" song that he sings. He even makes the kids sing it when he fixes something of theirs! And of course, you can't fix anything without a little duct tape! It is actually paper that looks like duct tape and I cut a little piece to add to the card. The Duct tape paper is from Pebbles and the Tool paper is from Carolee's Creations.

Robot Birthday

I needed a boy birthday card for tomorrow. I recently bought this cute Lil Bots paper from My Mind's Eye in the clearance bin. I actually got it to go with a robot stamp I bought in another clearance bin, but decided to use more robot paper instead of stamping. I thought the screwhead brads went well with the robots and since the paper says "got bots", I used my "got birthday" stamp from the Got Treats set from Stampin' Up!

Zoo Fun

Now that I'm off for the Summer, I'm going to try to do a better job of posting! Here's a Zoo mini album that I made at the retreat. I finally got rings to put it together and added ribbon. The paper is from the Animal Stackers line from Three Bugs in a Rug. I just loved this paper and it was the whole reason we went to the zoo!!
