More Valentine cards. I'll probably give the 10 Reasons card to my sweetie.......as soon as I can come up with 10!!
The paper and embellishments are from K & Co.

I know I won't need all these Valentines, but they're so much fun to make!
I'll end up donating most of them to Operation Write Home.

Bee Mine!
More Valentine cards from my Michael's clearance paper and scraps. The hearts on the Lovey Dovey card are from a Stampin' Up punch. I found a blue polka dot scrap of paper that matched one of the birds, so I pleated it to add a little dimension to my card.

Sew Happy Together!
I've been busy making Valentine cards. I found some Valentine paper on clearance at Michael's that had a bunch of rectangle designs. My friend Allison gave me the idea of cutting each element apart to make individual cards. I'll get 24 cards out of a .59 sheet of paper!
I just had to do some sewing on the card that says Sew Happy Together! I used my Bazzill In Stitch'z template for the hearts and the Sew Easy piercing wheel from We R Memory Keepers for the scallop border. The templates/wheel make it easy, but it does take a little time to thread the floss through the holes. It is a lot of fun and takes you back to "sewing" with lacing yarn when you were a kid! I'm definitely going to do more of this!

Michael's Craft Masters Competition
I recently competed in Michael's Craft Masters Competition. It was so much fun!! We were given a box that contained items we had to use in our project: an unfinished shadow box and some yarn! Then we had 15 minutes and a $50 gift card to run through the store gathering additional supplies. Then they took us to the studio where we had 90 minutes to complete our project (with a huge digital clock ticking the time down in the background!)
Those of you that know me, know that it was a huge step out of my comfort zone to do this. But I'm so glad I did it! This was my final project and I think it turned out very pretty. I can't tell you who won my episode, but I'll post info about when you can watch it on the Michaels website. It should be a blast to watch!
Valentine Treats
These are some candy treats I made. The first two hold a mini candy bar. The "box" was made with a strip of paper that I scored 4 times, forming the top and botton, to fit the candy. The word window punch from Stampin' Up! is the perfect size to punch a slot to hold the candy. Then you adhere the strip just above the slot to hold it together. You can either adhere the front flap with a little adhesive, or use a velcro dot.
The slider box is really easy to make. Just wrap a piece of cardstock around a candy box and adhere (without adhering to the box.) Remove the candy, punch a hole on each side of the slider top, thread ribbon through both holes, slide your candy in the slider on top of the ribbon, push the box down and knot the ribbon at the top. Then when you pull the ribbon, the box slides up. You could do the same thing for candy bars, bags of popcorn, etc.

Mailbox and Mini Cards
My friend, Allison, gave me these Basic Grey mini cards because she didn't think she would use them. I realized I had the same Basic Grey paper, so I covered the mailbox to match. I think it makes a cute gift set!

You've Got Mail!
It's time to start on those Valentine projects! One of my favorite things to decorate are the mailboxes from the Target dollar spot. This is the first one I ever made. They are so fun to make and the perfect thing to put goodies in, or your sweetie could put love notes in it for you!
