Today would be my Mom's 77th birthday. This is the first birthday card I made for my Mom in 2000. At the time, vellum was all the rage. I stamped the image on vellum in white pigment ink, colored over the image on the back of the vellum with marker, then layered the vellum over the patterned paper, and of course everything had a bow like this added to it! I was so proud of this card when I gave it to her!
I like this card and I'm sure your Mom LOVED it! I'm sure there are floods of emotions going on with you today as you work through your loss. "hugs" to you!
ReplyDeleteWow, another 12 year old card and this one is really cute, too! Hang in there today, girl...I know that holidays, birthdays and the like will not be the same for a while. Do your best to work through the loss and keep friends and family close - we love you!
